A wireless memory card that can be used in a
digital camera, allowing you to automatically upload your digital pictures
to their wireless network. An Eye-Fi card works just like a regular
SD Card (Secure Digital Card) in that it stores your
pictures on the card, but the Eye-Fi card can be configured to upload the images
automatically to a wireless network when it is within range and the camera is
turned on.
The Eye-Fi card comes with Eye-Fi Manager software for setting up the
Wi-Fi network connection. It works with
802.11g, 802.11b and
backwards-compatible 802.11n
wireless networks.
